Sean McCormack

Director of Architecture

For the past twenty years, Sean has been a vital part of Environs’ team. As Director of Architecture, he leads projects and manages the architecture team. Sean leads the permitting process of all projects and oversees all construction documents that go out to the field. This includes producing schematics and drawings, ensuring orders fit with plans, and partaking in client meetings.

Before Environs, Sean earned his architectural Masters from State University of New York at Buffalo and received recognition from Architectural Record for winning an international contest. Afterwards, he gained four years experience working on commercial, residential, and hospital buildings. Despite his accomplishments, he recalls being unsatisfied with a process which did not allow him to be involved with the construction of the finished product. Joining Environs’ fully integrated design-build team has allowed him to shape and oversee development of his work on every level. For Sean, there is nothing more satisfying than developing a client’s “wish list” into a home and walking through it with everyone who helped make it happen.
